I’m officially double-booked. Torn between a trip to Ecuador (an apartment in Old-town Quito, playing with monkeys in the Amazon, climbing Andean volcanoes, and a possible trip to the Galápagos) with my best friend and a trip to Peru (a flight over the Nazca lines, a boat trip to the Ballestas Islands, and a four-day hike on the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu) alone. What do I do?
